On December 11, Li Li, Vice Chairperson of the YUNHE County Federation of Trade Unions, led a delegation to Zhejiang Xinyun Wood Industry Group Co., Ltd. for an inspection and research visit, and paid a visit to Mr. Li Jinlong, recipient of the “Zhejiang Craftsperson” honor.
Mr. Li Jinlong serves as Production Workshop Director at Zhejiang Xinyun Wood Industry Group Co., Ltd. In 2014, he was awarded the title of “Provincial Model Worker,” and in 2018, he received the “Zhejiang Craftsperson” honor. He completed the full three-year technical school curriculum in toy manufacturing within just one year—mastering lathe work, mold-making, milling, and planing—and became widely recognized across the group as a top-tier technical expert. He redesigned fixtures and cutting tools, significantly improving production efficiency; optimized the manufacturing process for track-based toy trains, generating over RMB 1 million in additional annual profits for the company; upgraded traditional 2.0 spray guns to clustered directional 1.5 spray guns, increasing paint adhesion by more than 20%; and invented a roller-coating technique—the first of its kind in YUNHE County—which reduces paint consumption by 40% and substantially cuts pollution emissions.
Huang Wei, Chairperson of the Trade Union at Zhejiang Xinyun Wood Industry Group, reported on employee skill development and capability enhancement initiatives. He expressed great pride in the achievements attained by company staff and affirmed the company’s strong willingness to engage in skills-exchange activities with other enterprises. Subsequently, accompanied by Huang Wei, Vice Chairperson Li Li and her delegation toured Xinyun Wood Industry Group’s Innovation Studio and the Xinyun Wooden Toy Product Exhibition Area, gaining insights into the development history of Xinyun Group—the leading enterprise in YUNHE’s wooden toy industry—as well as the evolution of wooden toy craftsmanship.
